History of Brisbane Lions FC
Brisbane Lions was established in 1986 and later merging with Fitzroy in 1996. They have succeeded by winning the Premiership 3 times (2001, 2002 & 2003). The number of Brownlow Medals currently stands at 3 (Michael Voss 1996, Jason Akermanis 2001 & Simon Black 2002).
